Bell's Palsy

An update on My wonderful Husband

On New Years Eve my in laws were over and we were 

enjoying their company when Jamison's left side 

of his face started to drupe down.

He was loosing movement in it.

We were terrified!

For those of you that know Jamison

it took a while for me to convince him that we needed to 

go to the hospital... (I thought he was having a stroke!)

We compromised that if it was still there the next day

we would go.

After a night of no sleep for me

it was worse in the morning.

He was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy

well four months have gone by and he is starting 

to get movement back!

I am so pleased! 

No matter what he looks like I will always love him

but for his sake it couldn't have come at a better time:)

This is his two faced picture, the only good picture I have of it.

the left side of his face is paralyzed so there is no movement at all 

in this picture:( 

He now has movement about two inches over!

yeah!! 

 

We took our first real family trip!

We went down to Goblin Valley and then

headed over to Las Vegas

New Beginings

Well I haven't been on here for some time.

A lot has happend

We moved into a new home that fits us just perfect!

My handsome husband is dealing with Bell's Palsy

and trying to make due

The boys are all in school and I haven the day to myself

I have been trying to pick up new activities to keep me busy

I have a new calling in church

I teach the 5 and 6 year olds in primary and love it! 

They have become my new best friends!

Life has never been better:)

I will be better at this too:) 

The last four weeks...

I was going to write a comment to explain
but I think just posting will be easier...

Around the end of March a big lump
showed up in my c-section scar and
I was having a lot of pain after working out.
Long story short,
I had surgery to remove it the first week in May.
They biopsied it and it ended up being an Endometrioma that had
gotten so big that it had grown through my scar tissue and attached
to my abdomen muscles.
My body rejected the desolvable stitches they used and pretty much just
spit them out, so I opened back up.
I have a three inch pocket along my scar that wont heal.
So I have this little sponge vacuum hooked up to it and sucking
it all together...
It has been a long month but
I am finally on the mend:)

Summer In Bed

Well I can't seem to get my down loader to work to get my pictures again... :/
Things have a been a little crazy here at the Scott Household.
I Just have to say that I have a wonderful husband who
has been so loving and patient with me threw this whole recovery process.
The pore boys are having a hard time with Mom being grounded upstairs
but I am finally starting to be able to get up and get around,
somewhat:)
Hopefully I can get my pictures up soon.
We got bikes for all three boys and
it is the funnest thing to watch them all ride together!
It brings back fun memories riding
my bike around with all the neighbor kids:)

From the South?

I am starting to think Talin may be from the Old South;)
He is now calling me "Mama"
"Please Mama", "Mama!" "Mama!"
Hahaha:)
It makes me laugh!:)
